KANSAS 4-H

SPORTSFISHING PROGRAM

OPEN TO: All kids age 6 to 18 years old, all skills levels from beginner to advanced, 4-H members or not. Also, we will need parents and adults to help with activities (chaperones/mentors).

MEETINGS: Dates and times to be determined. This will be a year-round program.

ACTIVITIES: Fishing, fishing derbies, aquatic ecology, parks/lakes clean up, cookouts, tips/tactics/presentations and more.

OBJECTIVES/GOALS: First and foremost to teach kids to fish and have good clean fun. Secondly, is to keep them fishing by teaching them new techniques and tactics for other fish. And to promote aquatic ecology and taking care of our water resources and the environment.
