Channel Catfish: None reported. Try shad sides or night-crawlers in deep water off the dam. Crappie: Good. Crappie have been abundant near shore this week. Live minnows and small jigs have produced fish and usually the fish are found in about 10 feet of water. They are in schools near cover and, if located, several can be caught in the same spot. One fisherman reported catching 6-8 crappie in approximately half-hour sessions on three different days this week. Most of the crappie were about seven inches in length. Flathead Catfish: None reported. Try goldfish in deep water off the dam. Bluegill Sunfish: None reported. Not normally caught during winter. Green Sunfish: None reported. Same comment as for bluegill sunfish. Common Carp: None reported. Not usually caught during winter. White Amur: None reported. Same comment as for common carp.
