Blue Cats slow in 25 to 35 feet of water along the channel

Crappie fair using jigs in 15 to 20 feet of water by the brushpiles

Walleye fair in 15 to 30 feet of water using jigs with crawlers on the mud flats

White Bass fair in 10 to 25 feet of water using spoons and jigs off the windy points

Wipers fair while trolling in 10 to 25 feet of water using spoons and crankbaits

Access to the River Pond is very poor to boat traffic since the boat ramps are closed.

Report by Sports Cache Bait & Tackle  

Water Level: 2 inches below full pool.
Water Temperature: 62 degrees F.
Turbidity: Visibility 12 inches.
Fish Attractors: Not in service due to vandalism.
Fishing Pressure: Hardly any during the week, very light during weekends.

Largemouth Bass: No report this week. Try minnows or Texas rigged plastic worms.

Channel Catfish: No Report this week. Try nightcrawlers or shad sides.

Crappie: Crappie are still in deep water. They can be taken by boaters using locators or by drifting over cover. Live minnows or jigs are the best baits.

Flathead Catfish: None reported this week. Try goldfish or green sunfish.

Bluegill Sunfish: Fair. Bluegills are available in small numbers near shore. A few been caught on small bits of night-crawler fished around weed beds or other cover. .

Green sunfish: Fair. See comments on bluegills above.

Common Carp: No report.

White Amur: No report.

MIAMI (SFL)

Dam construction has been completed.
Boat Ramp , courtesy dock and parking facility and new restroom has been completed
Over 250 brush piles were constructed
Approx. 500 Largemouth Bass 6-20" have been stocked. (They are expecting more to be stocked)

The boat ramp is open and the Lake is open to all boats
