A 10" minimum length limit and 20 daily creel limit for Crappie
A 18" minimum length limit for Wipers went into effect at this lake on January 1, 2005

Largemouth Bass fair using minnows and jigs

Bluegill No Report

Channel Catfish good on night crawlers in the outlet

Crappie poor

Striper No Report

Walleye good while trolling using nightcrawlers and leeches

White Bass fair using crank baits or jigs early and late

Wipers fair using nightcrawlers on the bottom

HILLSDALE RESERVOIR

Inflow: 15 cfs Outflow: 200 cfs Level: 0.64 feet high

Effective January 1, 2003 at Hillsdale Lake, Crappie less than 10" in length must be returned to the water.

Crappie fair using jigs or minnows in 18 to 25 feet of water over the creek channels 

Largemouth Bass fair using spinner baits and plastics in the coves 

Smallmouth Bass No Report

Channel Catfish good using cut shad on  trotlines

Walleye fair on the flats using jigs

New lake record Blue Catfish of 41 lbs.

Smallmouth Bass fair using crankbaits on the gravel banks

Catfish good using night crawlers along the rocks 10 to 20 feet of water

Blue Cats fair using cut bait in 20 to 35 feet of water at the lower end of the lake

Crappie fair using jigs and minnows around the brush in 20 to 30 feet of water

Walleye fair using minnows in 15 to 25 feet of water

White Bass fair in the river channels using spoons and jigs in 15 to 25 feet of water

Boat Ramp , courtesy dock and parking facility and new restroom has been completed
Over 250 brush piles were constructed
Approx. 500 Largemouth Bass 6-20" have been stocked. (They are expecting more to be stocked)

You cant beat the heat for fishin nice size channel cats, use hoss hog bait dip www.hosshawgbait.com fish in the weeds in about 3 to 6 foot of water, try the smaller city lakes there hot fishin right now .
