A 10" minimum length limit and 20 daily creel limit for Crappie
A 18" minimum length limit for Wipers went into effect at this lake on January 1, 2005

HILLSDALE RESERVOIR

Effective January 1, 2003 at Hillsdale Lake, Crappie less than 10" in length must be returned to the water.

Channel Catfish good using cut shad on  trotlines

Catfish good using night crawlers along the rocks 10 to 25 feet of water

Blue Cats fair using cut bait in 20 to 35 feet of water at the lower end of the lake

Crappie fair using jigs and minnows around the brush in 20 to 30 feet of water

Walleye fair using minnows in 15 to 25 feet of water

White Bass fair in the river channels using spoons and jigs in 15 to 25 feet of water

Boat Ramp , courtesy dock and parking facility and new restroom has been completed
Over 250 brush piles were constructed
Approx. 500 Largemouth Bass 6-20" have been stocked. (They are expecting more to be stocked)
