Hi y'all, sorry we haven't kept the reports up to date but like a lot of the folks out there, we have had the same junk everyone has had this winter. But we are back up and at it again. We will now try to let you in on what is going on around here with the fish.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Crappie-
-the crappie have been doing pretty good at the res. Yes they are doing ice fishing and doing quite well. Most have said they are catching fish in the 12 to 14 inches range. They are using minnows, small kastmasters, and little Cleo's. Most say they aren't catching limits but 25 to 35 makes a real good batch.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Walleye-
-have only had one report of a walleye being caught while ice fishing.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There have no reports of any other fish being caught at this time. But you never know when you ice fish.
