Report by: Clint's Bait and Tackle

Hello to all out in the FISHIN country. The weather has been good and we hope they are wrong about it getting cooler for the weekend. We
are here to let you know all we have been told about what the fish are doing in our area. So we will now tell you all we know.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
crappie--they have been catching some pretty nice fish in the last few days around here. From all we have heard they are being caught about
2 to 6 foot deep and have been hitting best on minnows. Yes they are getting some on jigs but as usual you will get more and larger ones on
minnows.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
walleye--the walleye have been fair to good at both lakes. They are hitting on minnows and many colors of jigs. Work the face of the dams
and in many of the coves. The early mornings and evenings are the best times to get this fish. Also the good old crawler has brought this
fish to the stringer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
bass----they have been getting all types of bass in both lakes and in area farm ponds. Minnows and crawlers are working good catching the
bass plus some say minnows are a good bet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
catfish--channel cats are moving good and have been hitting on shad sides and guts, crawlers, livers, and minnows. Some of the larger
ones have been caught on gold fish. We have seen some real nice ones in the last week. The flatheads are not moving much as of yet. At
least we haven't seen or heard much on them as yet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We are here 7 days a week for all your fishing needs. if we aren't you all know you can walk across the street and get us.
