Hello out there to everyone. Well we are into another week and it is some
different than last week, but that is life. We are here again to let you
know about the fishing.
CRAPPIE-They are hanging in the brush according to all we are told
by the fisher people. But that is the norm for them this time of year and
they hang tight to any structure. Minnows are still working best at getting
this fish out and into your basket.
WALLEYE-There haven't been a great lot of them caught in the last
week but some have been caught. The ones that have caught them won't say
where they were but did say what they were caught on. Some lures, but mainly
minnows and crawlers.
BASS---This fish just doesn't give up. From all we have been told
this fish is still doing great. Minnows, crawlers, and some lures are still
all working great at landing this fighter.
CATFISH-The channel cat has been and still is doing great in all
the waters around here according to all we hear from. Livers, crawlers,
minnows, shad guts and sides, plus crawdads have all been working well on
this fish.
Flatheads still haven't been doing much yet. A few small ones have
been caught but that has been about it.
We are open 7 days a week and still have a good line of bait &
tackle for your fishing needs. We are open all year around even for the
winter fisher person. We have lic. For the state and have the permits for
your boat if you want to put it on the city lake. If you need us and we
aren't in the shop, all you have to do is walk across the street and get us.
