Largemouth Bass excellent in 4 to 6 feet of water using crankbaits

White Bass No Report 

Crappie good using minnows and jigs in 4 to 6 feet of water

Channel Catfish fair using liver and night crawlers 

Note: Several anglers have reported catching Largemouth Bass > 18" with sores on there sides.  If any bass are found floating and unable to right themselves, please contact your area Fish and Wildlife Office.

BONE CREEK

Smallmouth Bass No Report 

Bluegill/Redear fair to good using small jigs and worms in 5 to 15 feet of water off the bottom

Channel Catfish fair using shad sides, liver or worms in 5 to 20 feet of water 

Walleye fair using jigs and worms in the creek channels

Crappie fair using small minnows and jigs around the creek channels and brush piles

The 10 inch minimum length limit was dropped on January 1, 2001.  The creel limit will remain 10 fish per day.

JOHN REDMOND RESERVOIR

There is no access at the Jacob's Creek boat ramp due to the log jam.  A new boat ramp has been constructed on Eagle Creek, just follow the signs from the Jacobs Creek ramp.

MONTGOMERY (SFL)

There are New Regulations for 2005: No Alcoholic beverages are allowed on the property.  This regulation was adopted in an attempt to lessen littering and vandalism.  The dock project is under way, the old dock has been removed and we are waiting for concrete work to begin.  A slight draw down of the lake may take place to facilitate the concrete work.
