05/26/06 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool:1946.0 Temperature: 63 Inflow: 20 cfs Outflow: 0 cfs. Level: 16.43 feet low Report By: Fisherman's Corner WHITE BASS Good The White Bass fishing is good and improving. There have been fish caught around the South East corner of the dam. Cedar Point and on some of the drop offs. The best baits are large minnows and night crawlers or jigs, road runners and inline spinners such as the Blue Fox spinners. The best time to fish is early morning and evening hours.WALLEYE GOOD The Walleye are on the flats around Hunter cove and Mill Creek, Prairie Dog Bay, Sindt Point the south pipe line and Tip over cove. These fish can be found in water depth from 4 to 22 feet. The bite at this time is very light. The best baits are minnows, night crawlers and leeches. The best rig to use at this time is Live bait rigs and slip bobbers.CATFISH Good The catfish are active now off the bank. The best places to fish are just about any place you can get to the bank and put a line in but one of the best places right now is the river channel south of Alma. The best bait now is shad gizzards, shad sides, shrimp and night crawlers.CRAPPIE SLOW The Crappie are starting to spawn now and are starting to show up on the face of the dam. Night crawlers and minnows are working well along with tube jigs and road runners. BOAT RAMP's Boat access is good.

05/26/06 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: Temperature: Inflow: cfs Outflow: 0 cfs. Level: 0.00 Crappie fishing success had slowed, but anglers took some to 12 inches, averaging 10 to 11 inches. White bass averaging 9 to 12 inches were taken near the inlet. Catfish No Report Walleyes fair along the face of the dam
