Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: Temperature: Inflow: cfs Outflow: 0 cfs. Level: 0.00 Walleye and wiper fishing as 18 feet of water has been delivered in the last month. Access has improved, and the main boat ramp currently is open.

07/28/08 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool:1946.0 Temperature: 80 Inflow: 600 cfs Outflow 325 cfs. Level: 0.77 feet high Report By: Fisherman's Corner WHITE BASS GOOD The White Bass fishing at night is very good these fish are showing up on the drop offs at the dam, Tip Over Cove and the south pipe line area. White Bass and Wiper are starting to show up around the main basin and on the edges of the drop offs. White Bass are hitting on trolled crank baits and jigging spoons and slabs during the day time and minnows at night. WALLEYE Slow The Walleye is slow. There are more Walleye starting to show up on the main lake drop offs. Hunter Cove and Mill Creek are some good places to try. Night crawlers, Leaches, Minnows, crank baits and slabs are working for bait. CATFISH VERY GOOD Catfish are going well and seem to be getting better in the river and there have been a large number on catfish caught along the weed edges around the main part of the lake. There have been a good number of Catfish caught drifting the main lake basin. Night crawlers, Shrimp and Shad strips and some prepared baits are working for bait. Shrimp is working very well in the river and on the lake. CRAPPIE IMPROVING LAKE INFO. GOOD The lake level is at 1946.5 .5 feet over full pool. The lake is 102.1 % full at this time. All camp ground boat ramps are in service at this time.

Level: 0.00 White bass slow in the canal Sauger slow in the canal Walleye are spawning and congregating on the rocky dam face during the first two weeks of April, especially at night. The dam is closed at Sherman from sunrise to sunset April 1-20. Catfish No Report

Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: Temperature: Inflow: cfs Outflow: 0 cfs. Level: 0.00 Good fishing for crappie and walleye. The upper end of the lake has been especially good for walleye, while the coves are good for crappie. Nighttime anglers have been catching white bass and walleye.
