Updated: 03/16/06 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: Temperature: Fishing Report By: Jon Boy Guide Service Not much walleye activity yet, with just a few fish being taken near the dam using minnows. The best thing happening now is the catfish bite at the west end of the lake. Most fish are 3-6 lbs. and are taking shad entrails. 3 of us fished Saturday. and took 30 nice channels by 2:00 pm. Sunday was windy and freezing drizzle mixed with snow and 20 mph wind and we still managed 20. The lake level is now equal with last year's high elevation, we could possibly gain some significant inflows, a somewhat better outlook than what we have for the last 4 years. We still have some open dates in May and June, call today for rates.
