Updated: 05/19/06 Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: Temperature: 50 Fishing Report By: Jon Boy Guide Service Catfish activity at the west end has slowed, but some fish can still be had using shad guts. Bank fishing there remains good. Some white bass are showing up pretty much all over the lake, from the west end to the dam, they are trying to find a spawning site, so look for them close to what is left of the bay mouths and feeder creeks. Minnows and crawlers are the best bait, along with some trolled lures at the west end of the lake. Some larger wiper are hanging around the dam. Walleye seem to be scattered around the lake, and we have caught fish from 8 to 30 feet in the last week. The best bait seems to be leeches, but a few fish have taken crawlers.
