Bass- The water is slowly falling this week and the bass continue to bite real well. This week the top baits have been the Hart Bleeding Series spinnerbait, Zoom Brushhogs, Eakins flipping jig, Shocker tubes, Sinkos, and the Bomber 7A crankbait. The bass are being caught in all phases right now. There are fish still biting on the main lake and secondary points on crankbaits and jigs. The bushes, willows, and flooded trash are producing a lot of quality fish as well. There are several fish being caught off the beds even though they are hard to see. Having a quality pair of polarized glasses like LURE-EYES ultimate marine sun gear makes all the difference in the world. The boat docks have good fish gathering on them right now with the water slowly falling.

Crappie-Crappie are biting this week just about everywhere. There are still crappie biting on the bank on the lower end of the lake. The slabs are biting on the boat docks in the mid-lake area. Minnows seem to be the favorite bait this week, along with chartreuse Berkley crappie nibbles.

Catfish-The catfishing continues to get better every day. Juggers, limbliners, and trotlines are all catching good numbers and size all over the lake. Shad and goldfish are still the bait of choice for these anglers. The bank fisherman are doing just as good on shad sides, shad guts, and night crawlers.

White Bass- White bass are slowly getting better around the lake this week. The Horse creek area seems to be producing the best from morning until noon. Jigging spoons and Little George's are the baits of choice since the schools are still deep.
