Level: 2.08 feet low Updated 5/28/04 Report by: Littlefield Sporting Goods Submitted By: Greg Lamb Bass- Crankbaits continue to produce quantity and quality this week. The Bomber 6A and 7A's in Firetiger, brown and green craw are constantly putting limits in the live well. The Bandit 200 series in any of the splatter back colors are a good alternative. The top water bite is getting better all the time, and the Hart ticker buzz getting the best results. The big worm bit is gearing up, the Lake Fork and Berkley power worm both in 10" are your best choice. Crappie- The crappie have slowed this week. The better catches are coming early in the day, and the better fish are in the 12 to 18 feet deep. Catfish- The catfish are biting well, all over the lake. Reports of the catfish moving into the rocks. Shrimp, cut shad and goldfish seem to be working the best. Whitebass- The white bass are back!! The whitebass are biting in the Elk River arm and the Horsecreek area. Most anglers are using jigging spoons and catching them deep, but there are some whitebass surfacing in Duck Creek.
