Water temp 48-54 degrees

Above Sailboat bridge- dirty
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- dirty
Horse Creek to the dam- stained

lake level as of 3/8/05 is 742.51, there are four units of generation and no flood gates are open.

Bass- Stickbaits are the best choice this week. The most popular out of all other choices is the Luckycraft pointer 100. The Jig bite is feast or famine. Points and chunk rock banks seem to be holding the most fish. Crankbaits in crawdad patterns fished on the same structures with a slow retrieve have been working.

Crappie- Crappie are really starting to pick up this week, with some really nice sized slabs showing up. The best bite is occurring during early morning to around 11:00 am. There are a lot of fish being caught on darker colors this week. Grandpa's gigs in the browns, blacks, or grays have became hot this week.

Catfish- The juggers are catching some nice cats on shad in the 15-20 ft. range

White bass- They are still catching whites at Twin Bridges and up the Spring River.

Spoonbill (paddlefish)- They are snagging spoonbill around Sailboat Bridge, and from the mouth of Elk River up to Osage hollow. Trolling in boats is the method being used.
