Grand Lake

Above Sailboat bridge- lightly stained
Sailboat bridge to Horse Creek- lightly stained
Horse Creek to the dam- clear
lake level as of 5/2/05 is 742.05, there is no generation and no flood gates are open.

Bass- The largemouth are starting to spawn in a few parts of the lake. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits are catching good numbers, and some size. With the bass moving shallow the drop baits are hot.

Crappie-The crappie are biting again! The docks are the hot spots right now, with the crappie still staging around the brush and structure. There are a lot of crappie that haven't spawn yet.

Catfish- Cats are biting well all over. Juggers and liners continue to do well in the 8 to 15 foot depth on main lake points and canal swings.

White bass- They are catching some really nice white bass up the Spring and Neosho Rivers. There are white bass surfacing in Elk River near Blue Bluff and in Horse Creek.

Spoonbill (paddlefish)- There are spoonbill being caught up both rivers right now trolling from boats, but it is starting to slow down.
