chris, Naa, they don't leave, they just qiut biting. Mainly because of the current. What I would suggest is to move down the lake till you find clearer water. Also go to a arm that might not have current. One of the things that I have found that crappies don't like change and will stop biting when any change occures. Now If you want to fish the same areas,,, SLOW DOWN!!! Fish real close to cover and let it sit and use a crappie nibble. The scent will, sometimes get them to hit it. They will get use to the current and you will find them "Down Current" side of trees and piles or anything else that will break the current. Hopes this helps ya get on them again!!! <*)}}}><
