I have caught male crappie up shallow at 55 degrees. They haven't started bedding yet though. I prefer to get into the creeks when the main lake temps are rising and fish the lay-downs. You will find the afternoons the best times when temps start reaching the 50's and fish the cover,,,,real slow. Hope we get some warmer temps soon as cabin fever it's at it's high!!! <*)}}}><
