Keep in mind that during the winter Duck and Goose season Maple Leaf is excellent for Waterfowl Hunting. Due to the extension of Snows and Blues Maple Leaf is still packing in the Hunters especially on the weekends. The extension on geese is over in April. So if you plan on packing up the boat and kids to do a little fishing out on Maple leaf keep in mind there might be hunters there. Also for you Goose hunters there is no limit on snows and blues, you can remove your plug. and I am not sure but I think you don't even need a Stamp for the extended season just a hunting permit. Again I am not sure about the stamp. I just hate to see anyone head out to Maple Leaf and get disappointed that there are hunters out there.
