Report by: Littlefield Sporting Goods Water temp 42-46 degrees lake level as of 12/20/05 is 740.87 there is no generation and no flood gates are open. Bass- The bass are biting better this week around boat docks and chuck rock points. Jigs and jerkbaits on the rock points and around shallow docks are the best producers. Crappie- The crappie have been great all week, with limit after limit. Crappie are piled up under the docks around the brush in 15-20 feet. Minnows are working real well on slip bobber's or straight line. Grandpa's 1/32oz jigs in white/chart., ice blue, red/chart. are the best color choices. Catfish- The cats are biting well all around the lake, from shallow to deep. They are starting to bite real well up the Neosho river in the deeper holes. The shad are easy to get up both rivers, the shad are 3-5 inches. Whitebass- The whitebass are slow right now Lake elevation at normal pool: 404.5 Temperature: Inflow: 25 cfs Outflow: 139 cfs.
