Report by Bud's Bait & Tackle
The lousy weather is keeping the anglers at home. But the few that are
going and can stand the cold temps did a little good on the catching. Catfish,
crappie, small mouth and stripers did end up on their hooks. Unfortunately
not in big numbers. With the sunshine and warmer
temps, I am sure the reports will be better next week. Until then. keep a
tight line.
Strippers are hitting
on striper jigs in Hell Creek area and boat anglers caught some west of Minooka
on live bait
Channel Catfish very
good using
shrimp, shad sides and gizzards
Walleye spotty but the
weather is keeping the anglers to a minimum. Have not seen the Walleye
just rumor.
