LOVEWELL RESERVOIR

There has been added 3 large brush piles around the Oak Hill area in about 5 to 6 feet of water

The inlet will be closed due March 1st to April 10th to protect the spawning Walleye, so please do not fish around the inlet 

There are 2 new fish attractors at the north end of Marina Cove

The new ramp is completed at Cedar Point and is now useable

The lousy weather is keeping the anglers at home. But the few that are going and can stand the cold temps did a little good on the catching. Catfish, crappie, small mouth and stripers did end up on their hooks. Unfortunately not in big numbers. With the sunshine and warmer temps, I am sure the reports will be better next week. Until then. keep a tight line.

Strippers are hitting on striper jigs in Hell Creek area and boat anglers caught some west of Minooka on live bait

Channel Catfish very good using shrimp, shad sides and gizzards 

Walleye spotty but the weather is keeping the anglers to a minimum. Have not seen the Walleye just rumor.
