Hello out there in the fishy land. Once again it has come the time to let
you all know what we have been told about what the fish are doing in our
waters around here. So here goes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Crappie--the crappie will be spawning in a couple of days
according to all we have been told. They are ready and unless we get some
real bad weather they will do it in short time. They have been hitting on
minnows and a few jigs but the larger and the most have been with the
minnow.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Walleye--from the reports we have got there have been many caught
in the 5 to 8 pound range. They have been hitting minnows, jigs, and the
crawlers. This is on both lakes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Bass----they are catching all types of bass at both lakes and the
River and creek. They are hitting on minnows, crawlers, and jigs of various
types. When I say all types of bass I do mean all types.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Catfish--the channels have been real active in the past week in
just about all the waters around here. We have seen many from 3 to 20 pound
range. They are hitting just about anything you want to use for them. Also
the flatheads are starting to move pretty good. Have seen from 19 to 35
pounders and have heard of larger ones. They are hitting on all the usual
bait for them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
We are open 7 days a week and have a full line of bait and tackle for
your fishing needs. We also have the city permits for fishing and for your
boat. Plus we have the state license. For fishing.
