Lake Elevation at Normal Pool: 1421.60   Temperature: 

Inflow: 950 cfs Outflow: 0 cfs Level: 1.35 feet high

Minimum Length on Walleye is 21" and a 2-day creel limit.

Minimum length on Wiper and Stripers is 21"  and a 2-day aggregate creel limit

Minimum length on Crappie is 10" 

Crappie slow to fair using small jigs

Walleye slow using slab spoons

Wiper slow to fair using sassy shad or slab spoons

White Bass slow using slab spoons in the channel

Channel Catfish slow to fair using shad sides

WARNING Zebra Mussel were verified on August 26, 2003 so beware.

A 35-inch minimum length limit on BLUE CATFISH became effective on January 1, 2005

A 18-inch minimum length limit on WALLEYE

A 18-inch minimum length limit on WIPERS

Black Bass No Report

Channel Catfish  slow

Blue Catfish slow

White Crappie fair in 6 to 8 feet of water

Walleye No Report

Wipers slow 

White Bass fair to good using sassy shad or minnows under a bobber

Lake size & Location: 254 acres, 7 miles E of Newton

WE ARE NOW OPEN AND READY FOR THE FISHING SEASON THE LAKE IS IN GREAT SHAPE 

Crappie :good being caught on minnows and jigs fishing very slow on bobber and minnows next to bank

Catfish: excellent  being caught on sonnys stink bait and worms   

Largemouth bass: fair around rock jetties

White bass: excellent on minnows and white road runners

Walleye: few reports on the dam being caught
