Overall the fishing is improving as the water warms up. The fish feeders are
ON. Several trophy largemouth bass and many wipers and white bass have been
reported to be caught. Trotliners are doing well with good flatheads and
bluecats caught. Walk in or boat over to the hot water area. The hot water
from the power plant attracts bait fish and predators for good fishing. Warm
water means hot fishing. Both boatramps at the Linn County Park are open.

All fishing is improving. After a rain get to the
inflow areas with good line and some worms, prepared bait--channel catfish
can be great. Go have fun. Remember- Wear a Lifejacket and Reach - Throw -
Don t Go. Baits and equipment are readily available around the lake and at
Light House Bay and North Shore Marinas which are also good places to start
a fishing trip on the lake. Fishing on the lake has been good near brush
piles in 10 feet to 30 feet of water and below the dam. On windy days fish
the tributaries leading into the lake! Hypothermia and drowning can occur to
persons who fall into the cold water common to Kansas this time of year!
This will effect your ability to swim so have that life jacket on at all
times!

Walleye Slow varies tryoff windy points,
